What is the difference between life coaching and therapy?
Therapy primarily focuses on addressing mental health issues. Life coaching centers on goal setting, personal development, and achieving desired outcomes in various aspects of life. For many clients, life coaching is appealing because it is more action focused. Coaches work with clients to identify strengths, clarify goals, and develop strategies for success. Both therapy and coaching are valuable forms of support, each catering to different needs and objectives. I believe therapy and coaching compliment each other well and can both be used together.
